Fashion, style and photography is becoming my next improbable dream. It seems to be late for me to realize the existence of this field. Cause in my mainstream of photography mostly about nature and landscape. But just like I said before...I am and always will be the optimist, the hoper of far-flung hopes and the dreamer of improbable dreams...so there will be big NO for too late to learn ha *wink*

Dear March...

This month I got late start on magazine shopping. Picked one of my favorite *always* and the other just random select base on the article titles on the front cover. Pondering the need and the ME...my interest lay-on 'The New Tribal Fearless Fashion' article title for Vogue Australia April 2014. The idea in my head when reading TRIBAL is to mix and match between tribal and beadweaving. In my thought, tribal jewelry mostly using stringing technique, inversely with beadweaving. But when I saw the article, I'm quite impressed. Not only stringing, but embrodery and beadweaving are include in. Take a look for yourself...

To create a synergy between tribal influences and modern day jewelry is a new challenge for me. As my background from Indonesia which is tribal is in my blood, hopefully it will not much difficulty. So for the next round is TRIBAL mood will be in my table *fighting*

For a long time I'm a loyal reader of fashion magazines. Since I was in elementary school for exactly. It was my Mom's magazine. She subscribed three different types of magazines...all of them about lifestyle. So from there I love to see high-end fashion or jewelry. I have favorite style magazines too. And when I 'plunge' into the world of jewelry making, my hobby to read fashion magazines helped me, especially about the trend. I learned a lot about colors in here.
