3rd Tantang Dirimoe! Tjoet Nja' Dhien Reveal Day

This is a local challenge that I followed. We given a movie poster to be inspiration. And from the poster, I used the colors for my inspiration. Here the inspiration...
Tjoet Nja' Dhien is based on the life of Cut Nyak Dhien, an Acehnese strategist, political mentor, and freedom fighter. Born to an aristocratic family in Aceh Besar in 1848, Dhien married Teuku Cek Ibrahim Lamnga at a young age. After her father and husband died in separate attempts to repel the Royal Netherlands East Indies Army during the Second Aceh Expedition, Dhien swore revenge against the Dutch colonials.
Dhien started leading troops in the war against the Dutch, eventually uniting her forces with Teuku Umar's. They married in 1880 and she became his chief strategist and political mentor, eventually taking control of the united forces after his death in 1899. The continued fighting took a toll on her health, as she slowly became more fragile.
Due to her deteriorating health, Pang Laot, one of troops, secretly approached the Dutch and offered to surrender Dhien to them on the condition that she be treated fairly. The Dutch stated their agreement, and Dhien was captured on 4 November 1905 in Meulaboh, western Aceh. Imprisoned in Banda Aceh then exiled to SumedangWest Java, Dhien died in 1908. Since her death she has become one of the most prominent fighters from the Aceh War, being declared a Indonesia National Hero in 1964.

 - Strength and Beauty -
Beside the poster's colors - white, black and red, I inspire by her strong heart. So I selecting materials that could represent her 'force'. I choose white shell bar beads. Strong and forever.
 The back of the bracelet.
Despite difficult times in the past, a woman's beauty still radiates in the middle of a war. Represented by a red flower with black edges. Red flower from China glass beads. The edges from Toho seed beads and China glass beads.
Loving struggle for her country, unfortunately covered with betrayal by someone close.
 The final looks from behind.

Work in Progress: Bracelet

I’ve been working on for two days for the bracelet and I couldn't wait to pull out some new colors. I’m taking a quick break to photo the tail *wink*
My original plan is making a simple bracelet using seed beads. When I prepared soup for my partner, I found interesting materials. Then I started getting all these interesting ideas for combine the materials and seed beads. Along the way, I discovered that I really, really like two-tone colors, with the contrasting colors. Hope I can finish it on time *smile*

It's Golden

Today is the last day to submit my work for The Year of Jewelry Project week 2 challenge with It's Golden theme. On monday I remembered that I have beautiful golden Gudo lampwork beads, so I changed the first concept which was using Swarovski pearls.
Here my IT's Golden Era...
I played with the mix of gold, mustard yellow and smoke topaz colors.
I do not want to be separated from the beaded beads which its shapes like flower ornaments, then for the toogle & clasp, I chose filigree motif to match the both elements.
The 12mm golden Gudo lampwork beads look so sophisticated when meet with the beaded beads. For the beaded beads I used 6mm Czech glass pearls, 4mm Czech fire polish beads, 11o round miyuki.
Addition beads to match with the main elements, I used 6mm matte gilding metal seed beads, 3mm Swarovski bicone crystal beads.
...the final look...
