TMY 2nd Reveal

Meet again with me for local challenge - Tukeran Manik Yuks. And for the second reveal my partner is Jane Pranata. And colors theme is textile trend colors autumn winter 2014/2015 Chiaruscuro...

Just like the first, I must create something with the art bead. And the art bead from Jane is black druzy which had bazel by Jane herself. Here what I have done with the black druzy pendant...

I want to make something dark and between the darkness there still light to guide *smile* bit mellow ha...so here the necklace for  my second reveal...

::: Amulette de Papua :::

 Why Papua? Because there are many minerals found when mined is black, but so honed to produce something that could improve the life of many people.

 Love the druzy coupled with the red.

 I have to admit that my wire skill way from perfect. That is why 'that' mineral balls wire look so weird ha...

 I used curve Gudo traditional glass bead for the bail. And on the necklace I used Gudo recycle glass beads, China glass beads, Czech glass beads, yellow agate gemstones and seed bead.

 And here when the necklace worn...

Ahhhhhh...

Two have been completed, one to go!!! I hope I can finished it on saturday...so I have to stay spirited *hwating*

TMY 1st Reveal

Tukeran Manik Yuks...

Is local beads exchange and then create something with the beads. And today I am gonna do my first reveal. My first reveal is using beads from my partner - Noor Diniari with byoyant textile trend colors for fall/winter 2014/2015.

Just like usually, I always do everything on the last minutes *sorry Noor* I have four reveals for this week and my mood was up and down. Design was done but when gotto to execute the design, my mood gone with the wind *huuhhhh* so here my design for the byoyant palette...

::: Youth Earring :::

Although these colors is not me in personal, but when I saw the finished earrings, I love them. Young and full energy. Ready to explore the days in life *smile*

 When I received the package from Noor, my eyes spotted to the Toho cube in pastel mix. So I decided to use it for charm used brick stitch technique.

 I must used the art beads (the rules said that), so I used polymer clay bead handmade by Noor. Then I gave silk fairy ribbon to give sweet scent of youth.

Here they are...are you feeling young once again?!?

14th Blogger/Non-Blogger Challenge Reveal Day

::: Twice As Nice Holiday in July :::

That is the theme for the 14th challenge. And Rita as the host had choose wonderful photos as inspiration. Here they are...

And I choose the left photo - woodland creatures - Santa - x-mas - natural design. When I designed for this theme, I feel like Christmas just around the corner *smile* I want to make something simple but easy going. Lately, I love to see people using necklaces on their neck. To combine different necklaces and then use them together to create new style is not easy. I hope my design can match to each of them. I made five necklaces and I designed them to be use together. Here my necklaces...

- A Peaceful X-mas -

So many colors right. I hope I played them nicely. These necklaces carry a simple message to welcome Christmas with peacefully. That is why I put the pigeon on the top *smile*

I used simple stringing and wire loop to make these necklaces. A lot of beads types - Gudo traditional glass bead, Czech glass bead, seed beads, shell beads, Swarovski crystal and coated brass cross by Ezel. Here the final look when all the necklaces use together...

Dear Aug...

Although I have no fall in my country, but I have worst than fall. Rainy season...gloomy...wet...humid...dark...and windy. Rainy and fall have the same mood affect and pallete of colors. So I captured colors of summer at Asian Fashion Week before all become fate into fall next month.

I have a chance to visit the most prestigious fashion event on my city. Asian Fashion Week 2014 was held in Surabaya - Indonesia for four full days, from 15 - 18 of Aug. About twelve Asia countries participated on this event.
