Monthly Challenge : July 2014

::: Looking for My Country Blog Hop Party?!? Click HERE please :::

Welcome July...
It is already in the middle of 2014. Do you realize it? Have your 2014 resolutions achieved yet? 2014 runs up and down for mine. So challenging and need patience more than beadweaving moment. And the inspiration for this monthly challenge is coming from my 'moving house' life edition. I was quite surprised to find out my jewelleries. Some I made by myself, some I bought from other jewelry makers. After I sorted them, there were many which have been unsuitable to be wear. I took example these two photos below...

I bought this jewelry when I visited Banyuwangi for my bone craftmen. Take a look at the focal beads. The color faded. There are staining too.

This is my 2012 necklace design for Cocktail Hour Blog Party. The focal broken already, cause by accident I dropped the necklace after wear it.

Those two jewelry impossible to wear once again. It is too pity to be discarded. So...from here the inspiration idea came. If you would like to join this monthly challenge, you should pick one jewelry made by you and one jewelry that you ever bought from other jewelry makers. Give the reason why those two jewelleries are not worthy to be used again.

And you task is...
Make some restorations to both jewelry. Make them shine again. Give them value once more. Put your amazing design on them until they worth more than before. Are you ready?!?

Does it have to be my own design?
No. I'm happy for you to make something using a pattern from a book, magazine or tutorial but if you do please let us know the designer's name so that we can give them credit.

When is the deadline?
The deadline is Midnight (in your time zone) on Thursday the 31st of July 2014.

Can I make more than one piece?

I'm not in the Indonesia, can I still join in?
